Prior to getting married my wife and I took up dancing lessons for our first dance. We did the tango. I even had to buy men’s dance shoes for the affair. Since then I’ve been hooked on ballroom dancing. It’s been four years since I got married and I’m still using the shoes. It’s a wise investment.

Prior to starting our dance lessons, our instructor asked us to purchase dance shoes. According to him, every time we had our lessons, we should wear the shoes. That way we’ll get used to it and we won’t trip on our own legs. Finding mens dance shoes that would fit me was hard because I wear a size 14 dress shoes. The difference in dance shoes and dress shoes is in the sole. Most dress shoes have rubber, wood or leather soles. Dance shoes have suede soles for better feel of the flooring.
