Brother sewing machine

If you’re fond of looking at old vintage photos, you would what men and women did for a living. Chances are you would see photos of housewives cooking, cleaning and sewing. Women were taught to use the sewing machine to make clothes for their families and for others. In today’s globalization world, the only times we see photo graphs of people sewing are when the media shows videos of the big clothing brands’ factories in China. That was until “Project Runway” the hit TV reality show featuring upcoming designers gave each of the designers burning a brother sewing machine.

Today’s sewing machines are no longer as simple as they used to be during our parents and grandparents’ time. They are a lot more complicated and come with so many functions. A Brother sewing machine for instance is capable of handling 5 threads at the same time and the user can choose from different stitches just by pressing a button. A certain model comes with an automatic needle threader which is a great relief for people who may have trouble seeing clearly and for people with unsteady hands. There is also a brother sewing machine that is fully computerized; the user can even sew buttons quickly, sew fabric as well as quilts. There are also sewing machines for embroidery; these machines will get the work done in half the time.
