More and more people are leaving their white collar jobs and going blue. They are trading in their suits and ties and wearing overalls. One thing this crisis is showing us is that a skill is just as important as an MBA. I saw a show where they featured a banker with an MBA who got laid off and went to welder school. He gets paid just as much. The only difference is the work setting.

Blue collar jobs are always in demand especially in times of crisis. Everyone needs a plumber and a welder. All countries are always in the lookout for master welders. It might not be prestigious but it puts food in the table. Also, you don’t need a wardrobe allowance. More often all you need to wear is a good and comfortable pair of overalls.
