Most of us are aware that when we see a person wearing a scarf or hat there is a strong probability that the person has gone through chemotherapy and is nursing baldness. If we know of someone in this situation we can do well by gifting them with a bright colored hat, cap of scarf. Pink is the color of breast cancer. A pink hat or cap will give a breast cancer patient renewed hope. Giving the person a breast cancer hat is like saying that you understand her condition and would like to do something to help and show support.

While we are at it, let us be attentive to the needs of cancer patients. A breast cancer hat should be comfortable to wear. Those made of cotton are really nice in the summer weather. Thinner caps that are also seamless are comfortable on the recipient’s head. Hats that are machine washable will be great.
