camo fabric
We all have our own feelings towards the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. Whether you are for the war or against the war, we all agree that the troops need our support. The fashion industry may not be directly affected by the war but it sure knows how to incorporate camo fabric in fashion. Camo refers to camouflage, the darke green color often associated with the military. Camouflage is actually the multiple splashes of prints on a dark green fabric.
Camo fabric was initially developed in order for soldiers to easily hide in the bushes and trees so that they are not easily spotted by the enemy. Camo fabric allows them to blend with the nature. Camo fabric is also available outside of the army. There are camo shirts, blouses, jackets, skirts and pants. There are even camo outfits for children to use during costume parties.
