My eye doctor has always advised that I wear eye protection whenever I go out and the sun is out. It is supposed to protect the eyes from ultraviolet radiation which can cause serious eye problems. Before that, I did not put too much importance on the sun glasses. I felt that it just used up space in my handbag, space that I could use for something else. Now, I follow my doctor’s advice and am feeling good about it.

The sun glasses that I use are just the regular glasses that are available in stores in the mall. It is not graded nor is it polarized. I bought it more for the style than anything else. I could have bought polarized sun glasses but decided against it because I do not see a special use for it in my everyday activities. I don’t drive, go out into the waters much no spend a lot of time outdoors, either.
